Systemic Psychotherapy offers a safe confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings. It places your current concerns in the contexts of your life – family relationships (across generations), work / education, and social situation.
Therapy can help to reveal how earlier experiences may have shaped our beliefs about ourselves and the world, as well as affected the way we approach relationships. By helping us understand ourselves better, therapy can support us to find a way forward towards happier and more fulfilled lives.
Jon works with individuals, couples and family groups in a non-judgemental way, aiming to be respectful of each person’s beliefs, culture, life experiences and differences. Together we can explore your particular situation and how we might work towards the changes you would like to see in your life.
People bring a range of concerns to therapy including, stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, communication difficulties (personal / professional /relational), family relationships, parenting issues, step family issues, one or more family members struggling with mental health difficulties, difficulties from the past affecting current relationships, illness and loss. This is not an exhaustive list and there may be other issues that you would like to bring
